IntroductionStoerhouse Highlands intends to develop its first site at Georgemas Junction near Thurso in Northern Scotland where it will build a biomass fuelled combined heat and power (“CHP”) plant. In addition to power generation, Stoerhouse Highlands will utilise heat from the plant and is considering a number of ancillary development opportunities. The proposed CHP plant has the capacity to generate up to 15MWe electricity plus 6.5MW heat. |
