Developing renewable energy for a sustainable future

Stoerhouse Highlands Ltd is a renewable energy development business operating across a wide range of renewable energy technologies. Stoerhouse Highlands’ first project will see the establishment of a 15MW biomass fuelled combined heat and power plant at Georgemas Junction near Thurso in Caithness.

The Georgemas project will utilise technology provided by Aalborg Energie Technik a/s. Stoerhouse Highlands will endeavour to source the required fuel supply from within the local area. In addition to Georgemas Stoerhouse Highlands has access to a number of other potential biomass combined heat and power development sites throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK. These sites are being prioritised and placed within an active development pipeline along with a number of other investment opportunities within solar pv, micro and small wind, and biomass heat sectors.
